Leviton's Secure Connectivity solutions

Bayview Technologies are please to announce that we are now stocking Leviton's range of secure connectivity products.

Leviton's comprehensive line of secure network and port security products are designed to protect, designate and manage individual network connections within a Data Center, commercial enterprise, government, retail, financial, or educational environments.

Available for both copper and fibre network ports, locking patch cords and port blockers are available in a choice of eight colours and prevent unauthorised and unintentional port access unless a matching colour extraction tool is utilised. The ability to securely lock out a data port or prevent unauthorised access to a particular network connection is the key to Secure Connectivity solutions.

Secure Connectivity is ideal for various vertical markets applications including Data Centers, Government projects, education, retail, financial and hospitality - anywhere where a port needs to be secured from unauthorised connection or removal.

Secure RJ Copper System

Leviton's patent-pending Secure RJ Copper solution provides the physical layer security for critical network ports. Once connected, plugs can only be disengaged with the colour-matching extraction tool. The secure system includes patch cords, port blockers, and extraction tools, in both CAT 6A and CAT 6 configurations.

Secure Keyed LC Fibre System

The U.S.-made LC fibre system, includes patch cords, pigtails, trunk cables, harness cables, field-installable connectors, port protection plugs, extraction tools, and QuickPort® fibre adapters. Once connected to a port, the locking design — built into the body of each duplex LC connector — prevents removal by hand, and the connector can only be removed with a keyed colour extraction tool.
